Whip Up A Nutritious Banana Moringatein Smoothie
Bananas are a very popular fruit known for it’s sweetness and delicious flavor. They are packed with great nutrients such as vitamin B6, vitamin C, manganese and high amounts of potassium. Adding this to a Moringatein smoothie will make it taste great!
There are many different preferences on how ripe a banana should be when you eat it. The more brown spots it has the sweeter it will be because as it ripens the sugar content goes up making it a higher glycemic fruit. What’s great is eating a banana can really satisfy any sweet cravings you might have. A great method is to peel it, break it in half and freeze them to add to a smoothie later. This gives your smoothie a “milk shake” like consistency.
Here’s a great recipe to try:
- ½ cup unsweetened coconut milk (or substitute with almond milk)
- ½ cup plain yogurt
- ½ cup ice cubes
- 1 frozen ripe banana
- 1 scoop/serving of Moringatein
- 1 tsp. fresh lime juice
Mix in a blender until fully blended. Add a lime wedge or banana slice to your cup for a garnish.
Enjoy!
